A Lent retreat offering a morning of worship and reflection. Speakers include Jay Hulme, Rachel Mann, Rob Marshall and Nick Papadopulos. Opening and closing worship with Richard Carter and the St Martin’s Voices. In association with Canterbury Press.

Jay Hulme is an award-winning performance poet the author of the bestselling collections, The Backwater Sermons and The Vanishing Song.

Rachel Mann is a priest, poet, theologian, novelist and broadcaster. The author of numerous books, her latest work is A Truth Universally Acknowledged: Forty Days with Jane Austen. Rachel is the Archdeacon of Salford and Bolton in the Diocese of Manchester.

Rob Marshall is a familiar voice from BBC radio’s Thought for the Day which he has presented regularly for almost thirty years. He is a priest and honorary canon in the Diocese of St Albans and author of Transfiguration: 50 Pilgrim Steps

Nick Papadopulos is the Dean of Salisbury. He is the author of The Infernal Word: Notes from a Rebel Angel, described as ‘Deceptively simple; profoundly insightful; immensely entertaining’ by Archbishop Justin Welby.

Richard Carter is a priest at St Martin-in-the-Fields and founder of its contemplative Nazareth Community. He is author of In Search of the Lost, The City is My Monastery and most recently, Letters From Nazareth
