Blackburn post

THE Revd Neil Kelley, Rector of St Laurence’s, Chorley, since 2017, is to be also Assistant Archdeacon with responsibility for clergy well-being in Blackburn diocese. He will step down as Area Dean of Chorley, a post he had held since 2021. Fr Kelley was ordained deacon in 1991 and served his title in London diocese. He moved to Liverpool diocese, where he served in parish ministry and as Diocesan Adviser on Worship and Liturgy. He was Rector of Bushey, in St Albans diocese, from 2012 to 2017.

 

Correction. In last week’s paper we announced the Revd Sally Theakston as Acting Archdeacon of Lynn. She is Joint Acting Archdeacon of Norfolk with the Revd Simon Ward. We apologise for the error.
