The Scottish Episcopal Church (SEC) is the Province of the Anglican Communion in Scotland. It has a strong and high profile in Scottish life, is diverse in character and has a presence across the whole country.
Our churches are situated in South Essex near the Thames Estuary and Southend Airport, with 2 good rail links to London.
We are looking for an experienced and imaginative pastor and teacher who will come alongside our existing congregations offering additional capacity, expertise, inspiration, leadership, and guidance to build our confidence and further the mission and pastoral presence within our villages.
The Synod wishes to appoint an Officer who will support and facilitate the churches of the North Western Synod in their relationships with one another and coordinate forward looking relations with ecumenical partners.
